Taking a Taiwan Tourist Shuttle Bus to the Southwest Coast
Steve, Nicky, Oscar and I hopped on a tourist shuttle bus and toured Taiwan’s Southwest Coast for Travel in Taiwan’s Backpack Bus Tour.
The Garlic Sugar factory was interesting and photogenic, Nankunshen Temple pleased, as always, but the highlight for me was the Jingzaijiao Tile paved salt fields which I had never been to before. We had an overcast day with no sunset to be seen but the potential for sky reflections in the pool with the interesting salt mounds whet my appetite to go back on a nice day.
