Zhenlan Temple in Dajia (大甲鎮瀾宮) in preparation for Mazu’s departure in 2011.

 

Taiwan’s largest pilgrimage, the Dajia Mazu pilgrimage 大甲媽祖繞境, begins today. The main Mazu sedan is probably pushing through the crowds in the Zhenlan Temple courtyard right now. 3/23/2012 at 11:15pm.

I will be meeting the procession tomorrow morning in Dadu, where I left off in 2011.
