Sun sets behind large wind turbines in Changhua, Taiwan

The sun began to set as I was driving home to Tainan onthe lovely (but incomplete) Expressway 61 so I began to look for a spot to capture the sun setting over the South China Sea. These large wind-powered generators were a nice foreground and, although the sunset was unspectacular, HDR processing enabled a shot directly into the sun and gave nice texture to the sun’s rays at the top.

Here is another photo (a stitch of two horizontally oriented photographs – not HDR) from the same place but not into the sun.
